I must commend the paper for the return of publishing articles by the formerly-retired Mr. Les Dunford.

I am writing in reply to Carrie Kushneryk’s Letter to the Editor in the March 3rd issue of the The Town & Country Today.

To the Editor: Smo many letters never mailed. If only I could string words together as well as Les, Robin Stephanie and some of the other talented common sense writers. In simple words, I was a tolerant, live-and-let-live type of person.

Scours is the number one killer of calves under two months of age. It takes many different management strategies to prevent scours and scours is caused by many different things.

April 1 is just around the corner, and a google search notes it is a day that has been celebrated for several centuries by different cultures, though its exact origins remain a mystery.

Let’s get to the basics of why our winter was so historically warm. It’s all thanks to the major El Nino which was not a super one, but very strong – about 2.

A nine-month long journey for the Westlock Neutrality Team concluded on March 11 th with a hard-won victory when Town Council begrudgingly passed the “Crosswalk and Flagpole Bylaw”.

Pink Shirt Day might be a start to stop bullying but we have a long way to go. We cannot stop bullying in schools as long as adults keep bullying. Children watch and listen.

To the Editor: I'm very concerned about some individuals who are attempting to cause disturbances in our community.

To the Editor: I want to thank Carrie Kushneryk (Letters, March 7) for giving me a great idea. In her letter she stated that there should be equality for all, not just one group.
