Reader agrees with columnist, but draws different conclusion

In pregnancy there is a season of a new small body being inside the mother’s body.  Confirm this by reading the newborn listing in the Barrhead Leader.  What emerges after nine months is not the mother’s body.   The smaller body is not less of person because of size or dependence on its mother.

I worked at a large hospital and saw the admitting diagnosis for abortions was always “anxiety and depression”.  Why can we tell a doctor that a person makes us anxious and depressed and it isn’t good timing, and the doctor will “terminate” them?

All of us have been in situations that got more complicated than planned where all the alternatives are hard.  With time, forgiveness and support, we can move forward to redemption and restoration.
