Dear Editor,
I agree with the farmers and Northplex that the barriers are a nuisance and dangerous.
But what if a wide load like a Northplex home or a wide piece of farm equipment is holding up traffic, and an ambulance needs to get through? Can they pull over and let the ambulance go by?
Now these barriers, which are far too close to the pavement, can cause a life-or-death situation.
Hello.
This is farming country and not a four-lane highway.
I would sooner go into the ditch than hit those barriers.
They would cause more damage to my vehicle.
