Four excellent presentations

I am writing in regards to your report in the May 1st issue of the Barrhead Leader on the Barrhead and Districts Co-op annual meeting held April 26, 2012 in Barrhead. I thank you for your report however I would like to clarify a couple of items. You did not mention that the Co-op had held an information meeting in Mayerthorpe on April 23, 2012. This meeting is also an annual event to give our Mayerthorpe members a chance to hear about the Co-op and its progress. You mentioned in your report that Dawn Plaxton was not in attendance at the AGM in Barrhead and this is true. Miss Paxton however was at the meeting in Mayerthorpe and gave her presentation to that group and also expressed her appreciation for the Co-op sponsorship. All four of these young ladies did an excellent job of their presentations and we wish that it not be construed that any of them was not appreciative of the sponsorship. The Co-op is pleased to be able to help youth attend this camp and sincerely hope we will again have applicants next year. Again, thanks for the coverage.
