Barrhead Street Festival! (22 Photos)

It was a day of smiling and laughing, a day when anger and cynicism had no place. Twinkle, Bubbles, Sparkle and Kodiak, four stick-legged giants, roamed Main Street in multi-coloured costumes like medieval jesters. There were joyful children everywhere with painted faces, Aaron the enormous blue heron, and a huge A &W bear with the friendliest hug imaginable. Adults as much as youngsters could find something to delight and entertain.
